Employer: CSU Channel Islands: On Campus EmploymentExpires: 08/21/2025Division of Academic AffairsHigh Impact Practices & Experiential Education (HIPEE) - Academic InternshipsPosition Overview:The High Impact Practices & Experiential Education (HIPEE) unit is seeking an undergraduate student intern to support the integration of academic internships through marketing, outreach, and student programming. This role will contribute to programming efforts related to the Campus to Career internship program, as well as increasing student engagement to resources like the Canvas resource "Internship Hub". This internship offers hands-on experience in program development, digital content, & communicating/engaging with CSUCI faculty, staff, & students in a professional manner.Responsibilities:Provide strategic direction and operational support to the Faculty Lead - Academic Internships on key initiatives and special projectsAssist in planning and logistics for Campus to Career internship program's AY 25/26 events, including workshops, guest speakers, marketing communications, etc.Update and maintain the Internship Hub canvas resource with events, postings, and resourcesResearch student engagement best practices & provide creative ways to increase engagement with program & resourcesSupport the development & tracking of student attendance/engagement with program & resourcesParticipate in Campus to Career program workshops to reflect on skills and knowledge gained, as well as learn how to translate them for future endeavorsQualifications:Strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience or interest in program management, workforce development, marketing/communicationsProficiency in Canva, Instagram, and other social media tools preferredProactive mindset, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitudePriority will be given to students available for entire academic year (2025 - 2026)Additional Information:Hours: 10-15 hours/week during business hours (M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm)Compensation: $20/hrMentorship & Access: Internship will provide interns opportunity to attend meetings/network with faculty, staff, & industry professionals involved in internship partnerships. There will be opportunity for intern to pursue academic credit for experience, as well as advocate for tasks/responsibilities that better align with their personal and/or career goals.
